Daniel Lee Eidson

Daniel Lee Eidson passed away peacefully on June 22, 2025 at the age of 78 in Vici OK.
Dan was born March 7, 1947 in Cincinnati Ohio to Henry and Zelda Eidson. He Graduated from Akin Senior High in College Hill Ohio in 1965. He later moved to Guymon OK in the early 1970's where he worked for JR Adams, Shorties Electric, and Calorific.
He worked for 15 years as an owner operator contracting for Arrow trucking from 1990 to 2005.
In 1995 he married Shauna Ellis in Woodward OK where they made their home. After retiring from trucking he and his wife Shauna ran the Taco Factory and Woodward Taxi Service.
Dan was a member of the Lincoln Avenue Baptist Church.
Dan is survived by his son Jack Croisant and wife Stacy of Woodward, Daughter Michelle Wheelright and husband Brett of Sharon OK, son Dustin Johnson and wife Ashley of Yukon, Brother Mike Eidson and wife Brenda of Guymon, Brother Kevin Eidson and wife Kim of Des Moines IA, Brother Ed Edison and wife Toni of Liberty SC. Sister Tonda Peckman of Dayton OH. Grandchildren: Andie Croisant, Jonah Brockman, Rene Johnson, Logan Johnson and Emma Johnson. Many nieces, nephews and friends.
Dan was preceded in death by his wife Shauna Eidson in 2007. His parents Henry Eidson and Zelda Jones, Brothers David Jones, and Calvin Jones. Sisters Tonda Ani, and DeeDee Ditto.
Graveside funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, June 27, 2025 in the Elmwood Cemetery in Woodward with Reverend Jason Dirks officiating. Visitation will be held from 1:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Thursday, June 26, 2025 at the Billings Funeral Home.
