He was born on April 27, 1983 in Mexico to Honorato and Sara (Mendoza) Escalera.
Daniel worked for Subaru and was a member of Tavernaculo de Adoracion. Daniel enjoyed drawing.
Surviving are his parents Honorato and Sara Escalera of Stockwell; his children, Edgar Daniel Escalera, Jessenia Escalera, Alexander Escalera, and Romeo Escalera; and his siblings, Adam Escalera, Elizandro Escalera, Osvaldo Escalera, Josue Escalera, and Alvaro Escalera.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 6, 2024 from 3 to 7 p.m. at Fisher Funeral Chapel. A Service will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2024 at 10 a.m. at Tabernacula de Adoracion with Pastor Asprilla officiating. Burial will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park.

El velorio se llevará a cabo el viernes 6 de diciembre de 2024 de 3 a 7 p.m. en la Capilla Funeraria Fisher. Se llevará a cabo un servicio el sábado 7 de diciembre de 2024 a las 10 a. m. en el Tabernacula de Adoración con el pastor Asprilla oficiando. Seguirá el entierro en Rest Haven Memorial Park.
