Daniel (Boone) Evans passed away on July 30, 2025, at the age of 72. He was born on December 23, 1952, to Ethel Lee and R.D. Evans, the youngest of their children and the baby of the Evans family.

Daniel graduated from Gardner Strong High School in 1971. After traveling for a time, he enlisted in the United States Army in 1979. He left the military with a service-connected disability. Later, he worked in bridge construction near Prescott, Arkansas.

Daniel loved spending his leisure time hunting, fishing, and cooking. He put a lot of time into creating Boone's Bar-B-Q Sauce.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Ethel and R.D. Evans, and by his siblings Eva Carol Brown, Gussie Marie Greer, Dorothy Lee Williams, Irene Nell Williams, Doris Williams, and brothers Forton Evans, George D. Evans, James Evans, Johnny Frank Evans, Thornton Evans, and Tommy Lee Evans.

He leaves to cherish his memory a faithful friend, Earnestine Hill; children, whom he was blessed to love, Keithan Williams, Keith Welch, Veronica Hall, and Lacoya Hill; his grandchildren, Jacorion, JayNia, and Isaiah; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

Daniel has gone the last mile of his way and is now resting, reunited with his family.
