Daniel Nevin Everts, 52, of Fort Worth, Texas, passed away on May 21, 2025. He was born on August 31, 1972, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Dan graduated from Mukwonago High School in 1990 and earned an Associate's Degree in Business Management, specializing in Bowling Center Management, from Vincennes University in 1995. That same year, he moved to Texas after being recruited by Brunswick to manage a Center in Fort Worth. It was there at Westcreek Lanes that he met Kim, the love of his life. The two married in 1998 and built a life grounded in love, laughter, and family.
Dan later worked for Baird’s Bread and spent the last 18 years with Vestis Uniform Services, where he was a dedicated Route Driver and Territory Manager.
He had a true talent for woodworking and brought his creative side to life through countless personalized pieces for family and friends—Christmas ornaments, inscribed recipe boards, and heartfelt memorials that will be treasured for years to come.
Dan had a great sense of humor and was known for his quick wit and ability to make others laugh. He called himself a “realist,” often cutting through the fluff to focus on the facts—but always with a warm heart and an unmistakable twinkle in his eye. A true family man, Dan loved deeply and devoted himself to the traditions and memories that shaped their life together. He took immense pride in being a husband and father, always striving to give his wife and sons the best of himself.
Sports were also lifelong passion for Dan. Growing up in Wisconsin, Dan was raised to be a fan of the Green Bay Packers and the Milwaukee Brewers. Along the way, he also grew a strong passion for the Boston Red Sox and developed another love for NASCAR, with Jeff Gordon being his favorite driver. Sports were a fantastic avenue to share many memorable moments and his experiences with his family. His love for baseball ran especially deep—he coached his sons' teams with pride and expertise, passing on not just skills, but life lessons through the game. He was also an exceptional bowler, having achieved an incredible eleven perfect 300 games in his life. The golf course was another way that Dan enjoyed spending time with his family, as he never shied away from any competition on the course.
Dan is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Kim Everts; his two sons, Tyler and Peyton Everts; his parents, Dennis and Cindy Everts; and his sister, Cheryl Everts. He is deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
A memorial service will be held on June 6th at 2:00 p.m. at Lucas Memorial Chapel in Burleson, Texas.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made in Dan’s memory to the American Cancer Society.
Dan will be remembered for his humor, strength, unwavering love for his family, and the legacy he leaves behind in every life he touched.
