Franklin Daniel Faircloth, known affectionately as Daniel by his loved ones, passed away on November 5, 2025, in Kathleen, Georgia. Born on January 20, 1978, in Statesboro, Georgia, Daniel's warm smile and friendly nature touched the lives of many throughout his 47 years.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Jerry Faircloth, whose memory he held dear.
Daniel is survived by his wife, Dana Lynne Woodard Faircloth of Kathleen; his loving mother, Deborah Faircloth of Dublin; his brothers, Shane Faircloth (Jamie) of Dublin and Jason Lumley (Gretchen) of Perry; his sisters, Jean Lewis of Metter and June Lacy of Cobbtown; his adored niece, Haley Faircloth of Kathleen; and mother-in-law, Lynne Drew. Daniel was a cherished husband, son, brother, and uncle.
Professionally, Daniel was the manager of Builders First Source in Perry, Georgia. Daniel's leadership and reliability made him a cornerstone of the business, and his absence will be deeply felt by all who worked alongside him.
Beyond his professional life, Daniel was a man of many interests, with a particular passion for woodworking.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, November 9, 2025, in the Mary Whitaker Townsend Memorial Chapel at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. He will be laid to rest at 4:00 PM at Blundale Baptist Church Cemetery in Swainsboro. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until service hour on Sunday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Jason Lumley, Eric Roland, Frankie Chalker, Richard Moore, Gerad Mathis, and Rodney Clark.
