Daniel R Ferguson, age 71, passed away July 24, 2025. Dan was born in Janesville, Wisconsin on July 1, 1954, the son of James and Helen (nee: Fuller) Ferguson.

Dan graduated from Racine Washington Park High School in 1972. He attended college at Texas Lutheran College and UW – LaCrosse. He moved to Jacksonville Beach, Florida, where he met the woman he adored and married; LeAnn Glenna Ferguson. Dan worked at Xomed Medtronics until 1995. He and LeAnn then moved to Georgia where he became Production Manager at Advance Medical Designs Inc. in Marietta Georgia. Dan retired from AMD but stayed in close contact with the AMD “family“ with whom he remained close. Dan loved to adopt elderly dogs who needed a forever home. His kindness showed through in his care for his dogs, his close friends, and especially his wife, LeAnn.

Surviving are his wife, LeAnn; special pal, Ladybug; daughter, Christina Daniels; grandchildren, Xavier, Eric, Kevin, Kaitlyn, and Nevaeh; sisters Patricia Roselle, Laurie (Helen) Ferguson; sister-in-law Amy (Tim) Murphy; nephew CJ (Amanda) Roselle; nieces Kayla (Zach) Kimes, Ashley Manchester, Sierra Scott; lifetime friends, Bryon Petschow and Charlie Weaver. Dan was preceded in death by his parents, James and Helen Ferguson; mother and father-in-law Dianne O’Brien and Leon Glenna; and special canine friends Jax, Lily, Gabby, Kirby, Maddie, Zeus, Ellie, and Mayday.
