Daniel Figueroa, born May 19, 1959 to the late Maria and Frank Figueroa in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Passed away on November 22, 2025 surrounded by the love of his family. A devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend. Daniel lived a life of love, laughter, dedication and joy. On July 16, 1977, Daniel married the love of his life, Rita (Pena) Figueroa and together they built a beautiful life filled with laughter, strength and unwavering partnership. Their bond was an example of true devotion and their home was one filled with warmth and love. Daniel was a proud father to two sons, Daniel Jr. and Nicholas. He delighted in watching his family grow and his heart was fullest when he was surrounded by his grandchildren: Alina Figueroa-Kurtz, Gabriela Figueroa, Samuel Figueroa-Kurtz and Eli Figueroa. His grandchildren brought him endless happiness and he cherished every moment spent with them.
For over 45 years, Daniel worked with dedication and integrity at WE Energies as a senior maintenance mechanic. He was known for his strong work ethic and his commitment to providing a wonderful life for his family. Yet Daniel always made sure to savor life as well— appreciating each day, valuing time with loved ones and finding joy in the simple and meaningful moments.
Daniel’s legacy is one of love, kindness, strength and laughter. He will be remembered by his ability to make life brighter for those around him. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him and his memory will continue to live on in the hearts of his family and friends. Daniel will be deeply missed and forever loved. May he rest in peace.
