Prayer for a Driver
Down all the highways that you travel,
Blacktop, stone and even gravel.
On every journey through and through
May God's angels ride with you.
Daniel Franklin Fish, age 56, of Lebanon, Ohio passed away December 16, 2025. Having traveled the country extensively as a truck driver (retired), Daniel found his "home base" in the love of his family members. He will be remembered for his infectious love of life, family, laughter and good food. Daniel's life was filled with miles of memories, but the physical journey has come to an end. Through Daniel's faith in God, we find comfort knowing he stands tall and now travels pain-free.
Born December 12, 1969, in Monroe, Michigan, Daniel is preceded in death by his parents, James Fish and Victoria Lanham. He leaves behind his sisters: Theresa Sigler, Yvonne (Anthony) Raby, Lisa (Tom) McLean & Carrie (Larry) Boone; brother Chris (Nikki) Lanham; nieces and nephews: Lindsay (Stephen) Collins, Meagan (Mark Sutton) Parker, James (Ashley) Parker, Alexis (Brandon) Henson and Bryon Fish; great-nieces and great-nephews: Austin, Casey & Victoria Lunsford, Anthony Greene, Ava Parker, Allie, Abigail, Andrew & Abel Lovin; and great-great-niece Charley Greene.
Forged by fate and fostered with love, the bond between family members gains strength through shared experiences and inside jokes. Memories from childhood, and family gatherings as adults that evolved into uncontrollable laughter, were some of Daniel's favorite topics of conversation.
The family will honor Daniel's memory with a private memorial service at a future date.
