Known affectionately as "Doc," he achieved Enlisted Fleet Marine Force Warfare Specialist (FMFEWS) Insignia, demonstrating his honor and dedication to duty. After completing his military service in May 2006, Daniel took his knowledge and passion for healthcare to heart, achieving his lifelong dream of working with veterans at the VA. His ultimate goal was to help veterans, a mission he approached with a profound love and determination that continues to inspire those who remain.

In every aspect of his life, Daniel was defined by his compassion and a caring nature. He was not only dedicated to his work but also to his family, showing an unwavering loyalty and dependability that made him a cherished presence at home. His wife, Michelle, often shared that her happiest days were spent with him, celebrating their love—Daniel was her one true love, and together they created countless beautiful memories.

Beyond his professional achievements, Daniel embodied the spirit of adventure. His hobbies included cooking, hiking, camping, crabbing, kayaking, and fishing, reflecting an adventurous soul that loved exploring nature’s serenity.
