Born October 21, 1949 in Joliet, Illinois, Daniel Anthony was a son of Francis and Doris (Groleski) Gallagher. He was raised outside of Wilton Center and graduated from Peotone High School with the Class of 1967. On March 29, 1969 Dan married Pamela Jean Price at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Wilton Center. Much of Dan's life revolved around his family. He was a devoted father who took great pride in being involved in his children's activities. He was their baseball and softball coach in little league and was a 4-H Leader for the Willing Wilton Workers. Dan also enjoyed taking his kids camping when they were little, creating great memories. He devoted much of his time to others, but he did take pleasure in golfing or a friendly game of Euchre. Dan truly treasured any time he spent with family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren, and he will be dearly missed.
