Daniel L. Garcia, age 68, passed away at his home on January 29, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, and devotion to family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
He was born on February 11, 1957 to Ruben B and Betty (Lane) Garcia in McAllen, Texas.
Daniel was a cherished husband, father, father-in-law, grandpa, brother and uncle. A family man whose presence brought steadiness and care to those around him. He was known for his character, his life experience, and the quiet ways he showed up for the people he loved. His guidance, stories, and support will be remembered always. Daniel Lane Garcia's memory will live on in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing and loving him.
Daniel was preceded in death by his parents, Ruben and Betty, and son Daniel.
Daniel is survived by his wife, Rachel Garcia; Children, Leticia (Troy) Garcia, their daughter, Kaelina; Isaiah (Angie) Garcia their children, Cole, Dane, and Brooke; Alysha (Nick) Smith, their daughter Copen Smith; Grandchildren Haley, Malachi, Deyjah, and Uriah; Brother Ruben Garcia, nephews Nicolaus and Joshua Garcia and niece Tabitha Melton and numerous cousins. All who love him dearly and will continue to honor his memory through the values he instilled and the moments they shared.
A graveside service will be held1:00 PM Tuesday, February 3, 2026 with a viewing at the Bryant Funeral Home chapel from 11:00 AM-12 PM. Online condolences may be made at www.bryantfuneralhomeonline.com.
