Daniel R. "Danny" Gibbons, 70, of Morgantown, passed away on Tuesday, March 12, 2024 at WVU Medicine - JW Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV.
Danny was born August 30, 1953 in Baltimore City, MD, a son of the late Benjamin Richard Gibbons, and the late Verra Lea Pomp Gibbons.
Danny loved working at the Monongalia County Arts Center, and was an art enthusiast. He also worked for the Salvation Army in Morgantown for two years. He loved cats. He was a very nice man and will be remembered fondly by those who knew him.
He leaves behind many people who cared for him greatly, as well as his best friend and closest family member, JR.
Per Danny's request, he will be cremated with no formal services. He will be laid to rest in Beverly, WV with his family.

Daniel was a special guy. I worked with him for 2 years at the Salvation Army, and will always treasure his stories, and the time spent getting to know him. Rest in peace my friend you will be remembered with love.
