Daniel Hewett

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Daniel Wayne Hewett, age 44, who passed away at home on Monday, December 15, 2025. He was born in Orlando, FL, to David Wayne Hewett and Elizabeth Ann Hewett. Danny spent the majority of his life in Ocoee, FL, where he was actively involved in his community. He played baseball for the Ocoee Little League and football for the Ocoee Bulldogs.

Danny was known for his love of family and his passion for outdoor activities. He cherished the time spent fishing, golfing, boating, and watching football and baseball games with his father. He was also a talented painter, and his creative spirit will be fondly remembered by those who knew him. Above all, Danny was the life of every gathering, bringing warmth and laughter to all those around him. His memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Elizabeth Hewett. Danny is survived by his father, David Hewett; his sisters, Paula Hilton, Melissa Snow, Beverly Hewett, and Wendy Dorsey; as well as many nieces, nephews, and extended family members who loved him dearly.

A Celebration of Life will be held on January 3, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Front Row Bar and Grill in Ocoee, FL. In honor of Danny, his family invites all those who knew him to join in remembering a truly remarkable man.
