Andrew J Lukco

June 8, 2024

When we were kids, Dan and I would be together at Grandma & Grandad Lukco´s for Christmas or Thanksgiving. We used to love playing football against each other. We would get all dressed up, go out in grandmas tiny front yard, and play one on one football. It would be freezing outside, but we would layer up in old football jerseys. Of course Dan would always be the Steelers. After that, we would play catch in the street and throw sideline passes to each other and try to keep our feet in bounds. We must have done that for hours!
And when we could go outside, we would play our own version of baseball with a super ball in grandmas kitchen. We used ghost runners for the bases, and grandma would usually kick us out of the kitchen after about 20 minutes because she would be busy making dinner.
