With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Daniel Montgomery Honchell. He left this world on February 8, 2025 due to health complications. Born on October 22, 1976, in Cincinnati, Ohio. Daniel spent his life dedicated to his faith, his family, and helping others. He resided in Xenia, Ohio, where he was known for his kindness, generosity, and unwavering love for his family.

Daniel was a man of deep faith, who overcame addiction by the blood of Jesus Christ and became a devoted follower. Daniel became an active member of Fellowship of Praise, where he volunteered regularly- ushering and assisting at church events with a servants heart. He was always ready to lend a hand, even when he was in pain himself, embodying selflessness in everything he did.

A skilled worker in building and manufacturing, Daniel took pride in his work and found joy in helping anyone in need. Whether it was a tough job or a small task, he never hesitated to step in and offer assistance. In his free time he loved fishing, spending time with his family and caring for his beloved dogs Chloe and Xerxes.

Above all else Daniel, was a devoted father and papaw. Daniel was preceded in death by his father Dwight Honchell Sr. and his grandmother Margie Harris whom he deeply loved and missed. He is survived by his mother Donna Honchell, his siblings Dwight Honchell, David Honchell, Rebecca Honchell and Pete Honchell. His three daughters, their spouses and children, Brittany (Leah) Wilder, Ashley (Henry) Gomez and Alexis (Trevor) Hamilton.
