Thomas Everett Honchell, Jr., 56, of Science Hill, Kentucky passed away Sunday, January 12, 2025 at Hospice of Lake Cumberland Jean Waddle Care Center.
He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on March 23, 1968; son of Connie (Lester) Honchell-Strobel, and step-father, Mike Strobel. He was of the baptist faith. He worked the Hendricks farm, fixing fences, cutting firewood, and was known in his younger years for working on cars, and painting water towers. He loved working on the family farm, and really enjoyed spending time at the mill dam on the fishing creek. His greatest joy in life was music and his family.
He is survived by three sons, Thomas Honchell, Cody Honchell, and Patrick Dean Paradise Honchell; three sisters, Angela & (Randall) Dick, Sheila & (Charles) Horton, and Melissa & (Scott) Janssens; his step-father, Mike & (Marilyn) Strobel; nieces and nephews, Britney Roark, Michael Janssens, Tyler Janssens, Jacob Janssens, William John Horton, and Matthew Horton; great-niece and nephews, Noah Wilson, Harmony Wilson, and Jack Janssens.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Connie Sue (Lester) Honchell-Strobel.
A funeral service will be held at 2 PM Friday, January 17, 2025 at the chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Sardis Cemetery immediatly following the funeral service.
The family will receive friends after 12 PM Friday, January 17, 2025 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
