Daniel Wayne "Red" Jackson
Mr. Daniel Wayne "Red" Jackson of Amagon, Arkansas, departed this life on May 31, 2025, at the age of 41. He was born January 28, 1984 in Newport, Arkansas, the son of Stan and Lisa (Earls) Jackson.
Mr. Jackson was a 2002 Newport High School Graduate. He worked as a fire and safety inspector, where he worked hard and received several professional certificates. Mr. Jackson enjoyed squirrel hunting, fishing, and was a video game nerd. His greatest joy came from spending time with his family. The last few months he had taken steps to become a better husband, father, brother, and son. He attended the Midway Church of Christ.
He was preceded in death by one son, Matthew Wayne Jackson; one brother, Andrew Clint Jackson; his paternal grandparents, Stanley Wayne and Martha Jane (Goldman) Jackson; maternal grandparents, Daniel Webster and Pearlie (Caldwell) Earls; and his mother-in-law, Lorna Glendinning.
Mr. Jackson is survived by his wife, Emma (Glendinning) Jackson, of Springfield, Missouri; one son, David Glendinning of Springfield, Missouri; one daughter, Marion Madaline Jackson of Springfield, Missouri; his father, Stanley Ray "Stan" Jackson of Amagon; his mother, Lisa (Earls) Jackson of Beebe; one sister, Sarah Svoboda and husband, Anthony, of Beebe; his father in law, Raymond Glendinning of Springfield, Missouri; many nieces, nephews, and a lifetime of friends.
Services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday at the Midway Church of Christ with Mr. Llano Robinson officiating. Friends may visit at the church beginning at 12:30 p.m. Private graveside services will be held.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers will be Brad Jackson, John Morrow, Ricky Morales, Zach Goldman, Jonathan Goldman, Clayton Shelley, and David Glendinning. Honorary pallbearers will be Newport Class of 2002, Colt Boyd, Joel Stephens, Jeffery Beshears, Chad Combs, Jameson Weaver, Anthony Svoboda, Kevin Goldman, Richard Goldman, and Jamie Huey.
