Daniel Allen Jackson, 39, passed away on January 28, 2026, at Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach, Missouri. He was born on December 24, 1986, in Fort Worth, Texas, to Joey Jackson and the late Lou Ann Fortenberry.

Daniel was a cook most recently at Frankie and Louis in Sunrise Beach and spent three years at Captain Ron's in Sunrise Beach.

He was a passionate gamer who loved music and found joy in the simple things that brought people together. Daniel was known for his generosity, his kindness, and his heart of gold. His smile could light up a room, and he had a special love for children, always making them feel seen and cared for.

He is survived by his parents, Joey and Rebecca Jackson of Sunrise Beach; brother Bryson Smith (Courtney); sisters Allyson Fairbanks, Cindy Jackson (Kerry); step-brother Conner Strickland; step-sisters Riley Roberson, Jasmine Tennyson, Erica Tennyson; grandson Preston; nephews Aidan, Gavin, David; niece Sandra Kay Thayng; great nephews James and Michael; Aunts Candy Jackson, Kathy Jackson, and Cherie Stokes and his partner Melanie Savage and her son Jayden.

He was preceded in death by his wife Shawna Jackson; Mother Lou Ann; and grandparents Earl and Minnie Jackson.
