Daniel “Danny” H. Johnson, 27, of Jackson Center, passed away due to an accident on November 26, 2024. Daniel was the son of Steacy and Robin Johnson, born on December 29, 1996, in Watertown, NY. Daniel attended Indian River High School where he excelled in his classes, boasting great grades and exceptional musical talent that he used inside and outside the theater. After High School, Daniel earned his Associate’s Degree from SUNY Canton. Daniel worked as a PTA at Grove Manor in Grove City.
Daniel was engaged to his high school sweetheart, Kareyann Balsamo.
Danny was a very talented man. In high school, he was able to pick up German, take college classes, and even play in the theater. This is truly where his love for music started, now having his own DJ business. Danny loved the outdoors and being able to enjoy them. He would often golf with his father or his father in-law, even going two to three times a week this past summer. He loved to explore and get out into the world. Danny loved watching football, but was a Giants fan slowly turning into a Steelers fan. The biggest part of Danny’s heart belonged to his family. Whether it be his children or his cousins, he loved them endlessly. Danny always had a smile on his face and was always personable, going as far as to make sure that everyone around him felt at home. But most importantly, Danny was a great father to his children.
Daniel is survived by Kareyann and their children Elliott, Elaina, and daughter who is on the way, Eloise. Daniel also leaves behind his parents, his paternal grandfather, John and his wife Sharon Farrell; and his sisters; Cassandra (Brandon) Shearer and Brittany Johnson. Also surviving is his mother and father in-law, Jenny and Scott Balsamo, and his sisters in-law Katherine Rider and Stephanie Balsamo. Daniel will be remembered fondly by his best friends Tyler, Tim, Kenny, and all of his “adopted” nieces and nephews. Daniel leaves behind many other friends and family to cherish his memory as well.
Daniel was preceded in death by his baby daughter, Emory, as well as his maternal grandparents, Henry and Helen Richards, his paternal grandmother Jill Delles Farrell and his uncles, Mark Richards and Cory Farrell.
