Mr. Daniel L. Keegan, 71, of Lynn, died on Monday, August 25, 2003, at Union Hospital, following a lengthy battle with cancer.

Born in Lynn, youngest son of the late Charles A. and Mary (McNeil) Keegan, he is a graduate of Lynn Classical High School, Class of 1951, where he was a stand-out in football and basketball.

He was employed with Hood's Milk for several years and was known as the "Merry Milkman" during stints of competitive bowling and billiards. He also worked for many years with the Lynn Redevelopment Authority, and most recently with Teledex, Inc.

Mr. Keegan leaves two daughters, Linda Mason of Nahant and her husband Larry, Lori A. Keegan of St. Petersburg, Florida; and two sons, Joseph Keegan of St. Petersburg, Florida and his wife Sharon, Douglas Keegan of Watsonville, California. Brother of Theresa Sullivan of Revere and her husband Laurence, Veronica Scott of Peabody and her husband Charles, Rita Porcella of Lynn and Joseph Keegan of Peabody. Grandfather of 8 grandchildren. Uncle of several nieces and nephews. Brother of the late Charles D. Keegan.

A celebration of his life will be held on Sunday at 2:00 pm in the VFW Post #507 hall, 90 High Rock Street Lynn. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Arrangements by Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home, Lynn.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and share in a remembrance and celebration of his life at a collation gathering on Sunday, September 7, from 2-6 p.m. in the VFW Post #507 Hall, 90 High Rock Street, Lynn. Arrangements by Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home, Lynn.
