Daniel Ray Keen, 41 of Quitman, Tx passed away on October 12, 2024, in Alba, Tx. He was born on April 15, 1983, in Sulphur Springs, Tx to Rosemary Thornburgh and Dennis Keen. He grew up in Quitman, Tx where he attended Quitman High School. After high school he worked in construction and various other trades. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing with his brother, Brandon Keen and all his cousins. Most importantly he loved spending time with his family.
He is preceded in death by his wife Rebecca James Keen and niece Hannah Norris.
He is survived by his daughters Brooklyn and Braylyn of Quitman, Tx; mother Rose Mary Thornburgh of Alba, Tx; father Dennis Ray Keen of Alba Tx; brother Brandon Keen and fiancé Ashley McSchooler of Quitman, Tx; sister Jennifer Keen of Pittsburgh, Tx; niece and nephews, Adalyn Farrell, Dakota Norris, Taylor Norris, Ethan Young, and Landon Peckham; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and other extended family members.
A memorial service to honor Daniel’s life will be held at the Church of the Nazarene, 503 North Line Street Mineola, Tx on Saturday October 19, 2024, at 11A.M. All Friends and Family are welcome.
