Born on January 29th, 1956, in Washington, New Jersey, he was the son of Peter Kelson and Angelina Kelson (Yunnone). Daniel proudly served his country in the United States Army from 1976 to 1979. He was a dedicated business owner and paralegal, known for his integrity, hard work, and commitment to those around him.
Daniel is survived by his fiancée, Debbie Riner; his daughters, Megan Bleam (Kelson) and Alexis Medina (Kelson); his granddaughters, Ember Bleam and Alena Medina; and his brother, John Kelson. He was preceded in death by his parents, Peter Kelson and Angelina Kelson (Yunnone); his sister, Marian Dickey (Kelson); and his brother, Joseph Colantuono.
A lover of life and adventure, Daniel enjoyed playing tennis, swimming, hiking, traveling, cruising, and boating. He was known for his infectious laughter, warmth, and the joy he brought to friends and family. A faithful Christian, he lived a life filled with love, kindness, and generosity.
A funeral service will be held at Lakeland Funeral Home on Saturday, April 11th, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., with doors opening at 10:45 a.m. Friends and family are invited to celebrate Daniel's life and the legacy he leaves behind.
