Daniel Kisiel Obituary

Born in Clark County, Ohio, Mr. Kisiel was the son of the late Alexander Kisiel and Thelma Mae Brown Kisiel. He honorably served his country as a proud veteran of the United States Army, retiring with the rank of Major. Following his military career, he continued his commitment to service by teaching JROTC at West-Oak High School, later retiring from the School District of Oconee County.
Mr. Kisiel is survived by his son: Daniel G Kisiel (Ashley); daughters: Stephanie Marie Kisiel (William Barrett), and Kaitlin Mae DeJong (Cyrus); brother: Earl Kisiel (Kathy); sister: Judi Terry (Chris); grandchildren: Ty and Martin; and his significant other: Grace L. Crow.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Kisiel was preceded in death by his wife: Lorraine Kay Kisiel.
The family will receive friends at 10:00 AM on Monday, November 24, 2025, at Davenport Funeral Home.
A graveside service with military honors will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, November 24, 2025 at Oconee Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Prisma Health Hospice of the Foothills, Attn: Foundation Office 298 Memorial Dr., Seneca, SC, 29672.
The family is at the home.
