Daniel Kumpel Obituary
Wednesday, January 7, 2026.
Born in Mount Holly, he graduated from Rancocas Valley High School and was the
son of the late Daniel and Bernice (Jobes) Kumpel, Sr. Danny worked on his farm
for many years with his wife, Mary. He was a bus driver with Sheppard Bus
Service in Southampton, N.J.
Danny was an avid hunter. Even after selling their family farm. He went on and grew
a large garden and supplied the neighborhood with fresh fruits and vegetables. He
was a huge Phillies Fan. He also loved watching and feeding the deer in his yard.
In addition to his parents, he was pre-deceased by his wife, Mary in 2019.
He is survived by his two daughters; Andy (Brett) Grainger and Sharon Lyn (Bryan)
Rhone, two grandchildren; Kelly and Aaron, a sister, Susan (Melvin) Effron and
many nieces and nephews.
A private graveside service will be held at the Evergreen Cemetery in Lumberton,
N.J.
