Daniel "Dan" Charles Lampe, age 66, of Grand Haven, passed away on Sunday, September 14, 2025. He was born on February 28, 1959, the son of Jerome and Rosemarie Lampe.

Dan graduated from Ferris State University with a bachelor's degree. He married the former Doreen Nelson on November 16, 2002. Dan worked as Mechanical Engineer his entire career, most recently working for B & B Design and Acme Pallett.

Dan worked on many mission trips in Honduras and sponsored the mission group Chi Alpha. He also enjoyed woodworking, going up to Silver Lake, and being with family. Dan was a loving, humble, kind, dedicated man who will be deeply missed.

Dan is survived by his wife, Doreen; his children: Mark (Lydia) Lampe, Matthew Lampe, Angie Eliopulos, Elizabeth Christner, and Jenn Gorton; grandchildren: Robert Brock, Danielle Eliopulos, Samantha Eliopulos, Cadence Corbin, Trevor Christner, Gavin Christner, and lly Gorton; great-grandchildren, Elijah and Ava Brock; brother, David (Zeyu Su) Lampe; his sisters, Diane (Mike) Peters and Theresa Meyer; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.

A Celebration of Life Visitation for Dan will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2025, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m., at Klaassen Family Funeral Home (1500 Robbins Rd., Grand Haven, MI 49417).

In lieu of flowers, the family requests Memorial Contributions be made to Casa De Esperanza-Casa of Hope (www.casaofhope.com) or Honduras Fountain of Life (www.hondurasfountainoflife.org). Donating to either of these mission groups would honor Dan the most.
