Daniel E. Laverdure, age 56, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 13, 2024.
He was born on July 10, 1968, to Edmond and Bertha Laverdure.
Residing most of his life in the town of Ephratah. He was a neighbor to all and would do anything to help a friend. Dan took pride in his hard work ethics. He strived to be the best at everything he did. Holding his most recent position at SI Group in Rotterdam. Over the years, he hauled everything from propane for Ferrellgas in Johnstown to dynamite, explosives and hazardous waste throughout NY and neighboring states.
Predeceased by both parents Edmond and Bertha Laverdure. He is survived by good younger brother Jason Laverdure and his wife Cindy.
His ex-wife Melissa Sprouse, who he was married to for 30 years, remained a lifelong friend. It was within that relationship where Dan found his family. Gaining parental figures, Sisters and Brothers and nephews that he adored.
He will be missed by a few very close friends that remained by his side in the tough times.
Our hope is that you will remember Dan as the man he was throughout his lifetime. A true and honest friend. A hard worker. A God fearing and loving man.
Let's not be judged by the final chapter, but rather its entire content.
A private memorial will be held at the family's discretion.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the A.G. Cole Funeral Home, 215 E. Main Street, Johnstown, NY.
