Daniel Lee Mack, 61, of Napoleon, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 4, 2026, after hard fought battle with cancer.
He was born on Dec. 11, 1964, in Defiance, Ohio, to the late Lavon and Eileen (Willitzer) Mack. On Feb. 14, 2003, he married Michelle "Shelli" Lucas in Paulding, Ohio, and spent a loving 22 years together.
Dan was a member of St Mary's Catholic Church of Holgate. He was a hard-working man and worked as a Journeyman Lineman during his lifetime.
Dan would often tinker and work on various projects in his spare time and was a member of IBEW Local #245. Dan loved his family and his pets. He enjoyed hosting pool parties, boating, mushroom hunting, and going to the beach in Florida.
While working as a lineman, he traveled to many storm jobs helping to get power back on.
He is survived by his loving wife, Shelli; children, Jenna Lee Mack and Jenson Daniel Mack; and his siblings, Deb (George) Wynn, Dianne (Mark Forrer) Pittman, Don Mack, Dolores Bost, Robert (Sherri) Mack and Patti (Tim) Frank; as well as many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Dan is preceded in death by his brothers, Dennis and David Mack.
A funeral Mass will be held for Dan on Friday, Jan. 9, 2026, at 11 a.m., at St. Augustine Catholic Church, Napoleon. A visitation will be held beforehand at the church ministry center, next to the church, from 9 a.m. until the time of Mass at 11 a.m. Interment will follow the funeral mass at Riverview Memory Gardens in Defiance.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made out to United Way of Henry County, donor's choice, or to Dan's family in care of the funeral home.
