Daniel Madore

Van Buren--- Daniel N. Madore, 93, died October 26, 2023, at a Madawaska healthcare facility. He was born December 6, 1929 in Cyr Plantation, a son of the late Leo S. and Lillian (Ayotte) Madore.
He is survived by his children, Peggy Madore and her husband Herb Wheeler of Daniels, WV, Lisa Sieracki and her husband Marcus of New Richmond, WI, and Mark Madore and his wife Lynne Fruth of Winfield, WV; his sister, Homerine Cyr of Carmel; grandchildren, Jennifer Sieracki, Craig Sieracki and his wife Heather Cork, Elizabeth Lewis and her husband Joel; great grandchildren, Jemma & Zoey Sieracki-Cork, and Sawyer & Saylor Lewis.
Besides his parents, Dan was predeceased by his loving wife of 55 years, Carleen (Ouellette) Madore in 2009, two sisters, Della and Jeanine, and brother Melvin.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM on Tuesday, October 31, 2023, at St. Bruno-St. Remi Catholic Church, Van Buren. Relatives and friends may greet the family Tuesday morning 8:30 – 9:30 AM at Lajoie Funeral Home, 118 High St., Van Buren. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
