I remember Dann. He and Steve Dawes always took their music albums in our class at Victoria Elementary. He hooked me up so many times at Sbarros´ Pizza at the Inland Center Mall and was a blast in Hawaii. Dann, I´m sorry, I didn´t stay in touch. You were a blessing brother. God bless and keep you.

Dann and I worked in the mall many years ago.. I introduced him to Rossi and Marla since we were new to the area and from then on all the fun memories began.. Dann worked at the coffee shop with Aaron Scott and Rob they then went to work at Sambourros cause his cousin was hired as manager there... being some were musicly inclined they would jam every night at the house...Dann was so much fun that´s why I posted one of my favorite classic pics of them! Dann with Daniel made a surprise visit this pass summer and was so happy to see them not knowing it would be the last...Such great times even with Mark and Julio and my prayers go out to the Madrid family for our Heavenly Father gives them strength during this difficult time and may Dann rest in heavenly paradise watching over his son and knowing he will always live on in our hearts

Daniel, I am truly heartbroken to hear about your loss. I can´t begin to imagine the pain you´re feeling right now. Your Dad and you had such an awesome bond.
We shared so many good times together-traveling for work, lunch out at the local spots and working side by side. I will always cherish those memories and the moments of laughter and camaraderie we had.
Dan was a wonderful person. Many blessings to the family.

I´m so deeply sorry for your loss, my condolences to the family and may Dan rest in paradise. He will surely be missed but always remembered by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. His sense of humor was legendary and his smile was contagious. Rest easy old friend.

Hi my name was Jennifer Carlisle when I knew Dan may years ago. We were child hood friends. My sister Shauna and I lived across the street from the Madrid family. I have so many fond memories of running around the neighborhood having all the fund children have. Rest in peace Dan. My heart goes out to your son

Daniel and family, my deepest sympathies. Hearing the news brought me to tears...and that says a lot for co-worker whom I considered more than a peer, but a friend.
In honor of Daniel J Madrid I wanted to share what I appreciated most about him. He was a person who filled my cup and didn't ask for anything back in return. He was witty and had an insatiable love to learn. He never wanted others to worry about him. I'd ask about his well-being and he would laugh and tell me not to worry. He worried more about others. He was very thoughtful and caring. He kept in touch when most lost touch. In my almost 11 years of working at our company, he was one of only three peers I've traveled on my own dime to meet personally. My husband appreciated his love for our great triton cockatoo 'Catalina'. And we swapped pics of our beloved feather and fur babies ( He sent me pics of the cat! lol). We both shared a bond for being parents (we both had sons around the same age).
To Daniel, his son, your father shared so many wonderful stories about you. He loved you so much. He was so proud of you. There wasn't a day or a moment he didn't seize to share his love and gratitude for you - You were his greatest blessing and gift in this life. It was inspiring to see how much a father could love a son. I've attached pictures Dan or I took, and I'm so glad I had the opportunity and honor to meet you (may his legacy live on with you).
We work so many hours with some of our peers at work. Sometimes more than our own family. He was a very good friend to me. All I can do is honor his memory by sharing how much he meant to me and others, as I would a close friend / family member. Dan, your laughter, and your smile I will remember. Hearing you say, "hey JNK" will be dearly missed.
To his son Daniel and the family, I wish you comfort and support and all the love you can hold in these coming days to help you thru this time. Peace be with you. And to his son, if I can ever return the favor and fill your cup as your dad did for me, know you have friends of your father that are only a phone call away to give you a helping hand of support and encouragement.

My deepest condolences to Dan´s family. Growing up we were Victoria elementary and neighborhood kids. As a group we would play during recess and walk together home from school. You were a kind soul, we moved so contact was lost however I´ve always considered you a friend. May you rest easy and may God bless your family in mourning.

Dan, this world will not be near as fun without you here. My heart aches for your son and your family. I would have helped in any way I could have had I known. Trivia and fish fries will never be the same. Rick and I will miss you terribly. Rest well my friend.
