Daniel Martin was born October 28th, 1943, in Indianapolis, Indiana to James and Ruth Martin. He attended Manual high school, where he met Gloria his wife of 55+ years. He graduated in class of 1963. Then he served the United States army and he worked at American Aggregates Inc.
After that he was recruited by his youngest brother to the tile world. There they worked side-by-side at Chance Brothers Marble and Tile, until his retirement.
He is survived by his wife Gloria (Bramlett) Martin, his daughter Danielle Heady (Timothy); his one and only granddaughter Taylor Joy; (who truly was the joy of his life) his daughter Kimberly Daniels; six grandsons Gunnery Sergeant Tyler Chaffin, Woodrow, Cordell, Tanner, Joe and Hunter Daniels. Three great-grandchildren Logan, Justin, and Roman; one great-granddaughter Stella and 1 on the way Paislee. His siblings Arvin (Sheila) Martin New York, Charlotte Dwigans and Keith (Marsha) Martin.
He was preceded in death by his parents James and Ruth Martin, older brother Clyde Martin and brother-in-law Robert (Bobby) Dwigins.
