Daniel Maxham

Daniel Wayne Maxham passed away on November 24, 2025 with family by his side. Daniel was born in Northfield, VT to Roger Maxham and Alison (Dickinson) Maxham of Roxbury, VT on September 28, 1952. He grew up in Roxbury, VT. He spent a lot of time with his brothers and sister at the Roxbury Fish Hatchery. He enjoyed playing baseball anywhere he could, getting neighbor kids to join in on the fun. His brothers taught him how to hunt and fish left handed so he was able to with either hand. He enjoyed swimming behind their family home with his brothers and sister. Daniel graduated from Northfield Schools in 1971. He went on to working at Northfield Wood Products, Moots Wood Turnings both in Northfield/Northfield Falls, and Green Mountain Woodworking, then Eathen Allen in Randolph; most recently Nantucket Post Caps in Bethel. He made his life job all woodwork because he loved making stuff out of wood.
He met Lynn Jerry at Rodney Maxham and Bonnie (Jerry) Maxham's wedding. He loved going for rides with Lynn and she also went to all of his baseball games with him. Daniel Maxham married Lynn Jerry in 1977. Daniel and Lynn (Jerry) Maxham later had three kids: Tony Maxham, Brad Maxham and Alison Maxham. Daniel had many friends. Wherever he went, he made friends, he was known as a friendly, kind, caring, compassionate person. He loved spending time with family and friends. His hobbies were fishing, hunting, baseball, bowling, corn hole and flower gardening; also, watching birds at the bird feeders. Daniel also enjoyed working on the Jerry Farm in East Roxbury, haying, driving tractors, feeding cattle, milking cattle and herding cattle.
Daniel is predeceased by his father, Roger Maxham; mother, Alison (Dickinson) Maxham; and brother, Rodney Maxham. He is survived by his loving wife, Lynn (Jerry) Maxham of Braintree, VT; his son, Tony Maxham Of Northfield Falls, VT; grandson, Jacob Maxham of Northfield Falls, VT; son, Brad Maxham of Braintree, VT; granddaughter, Bindi of Randolph, VT; daughter, Alison Maxham (Kevin LaForest) of Northfield, VT; grandson, Kasey Laforest of Northfield. VT; sister, Donna (Dwayne) Roberts of Mesa, AZ; brother, Richard (Mary) Maxham of Braintree,VT; brother, Wesson (Lillian) Maxham of Braintree, VT; sister-in-law, Bonnie (Jerry) Maxham of Northfield Falls, VT, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visiting Hours and a Service for Daniel Wayne Maxham will be held at Kingston Funeral Home in Northfield of Friday December 12, 2025 from 5PM to 7PM.
