Daniel J. McComb, 75, of Carmel, Indiana passed away on January 12, 2024.
Dan was born December 12, 1948, in Fort Wayne, Indiana to James and Lois (Houser) McComb. He graduated from Indiana University in 1971 before beginning a lifelong career in insurance until his retirement in 2010.
Dan was an avid golfer, IU basketball fan (and critic), and former owner and pilot of a Cessna.
Dan married Isolde Hardwick on November 19, 1988, and is survived by his loving wife of 35 years; son, Andrew (Melissa) McComb and their son, Alex; daughter, Maria (Curt) Hunt and their children, Ethan and Avery; daughter, Katie (Wes) Couch; stepdaughter, Pamela (Kenny) Rector and their daughters, Kendra and Maegan; and siblings, David (Melinda) McComb, Douglas (Ginger) McComb, Dennis McComb, and Diane (Brian) Pelkington.
There will be a private Celebration of Life for family and friends at a later date.
