Daniel Minnick Jr.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Daniel James Minnick Jr., a cherished partner, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and devoted friend. Dan, who was born on October 14, 1925, in Baltimore, Maryland, departed this life on February 4, 2026. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Daniel served his country honorably in the Navy. After his service, he dedicated himself to a long career as a 5-time delegate for the State of Maryland, proudly representing his community. His commitment to public service exemplified his deep care for those around him.

Dan was predeceased by his late wife, Eleanor Minnick. He found companionship and love in his life partner, Linda Parsons, who stood by his side through the years.

Dan is survived by his beloved daughters, Debbie Darr and Cindy Bezilla. He was a proud grandfather to Amy, Justin, and the late Chip, and great-grandfather to his four great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. He was also a devoted brother to the late Joseph "Sonny" Minnick.

In honor of Daniel's remarkable life, a public viewing will be held at Connelly Funeral Home of Dundalk, 7110 Sollers Point Road, on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, from 2:00 PM- 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral service celebrating his life will take place at the funeral home on Wednesday February 11, 2026, at 11:00 AM, followed by a graveside service at Sacred Heart of Mary Cemetery, 7501 German Hill Road.
