Daniel Mitchell

Daniel William Mitchell, 76, of Memphis, Missouri, passed away Friday, January 12, 2024, at his residence in Memphis, Missouri.
Dan was born December 5, 1947, in Lancaster, Wisconsin, the son of William F. and Caroline E. Lutz Mitchell.
He graduated from the Lancaster Senior High School in the Class of 1966 and continued his education with the Madison Tech College in Madison, Wisconsin in 1968. Dan owned and operated his own HVAC service, Dan Mitchell Services.
On July 19, 1969, in Lancaster, Wisconsin, Daniel married Marcia L. Rech and to this union one daughter was born.
Dan served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era.
In December 2017, Dan and Marcia moved to Memphis, Missouri.
Dan is survived by his wife of fifty-four years, Marcia Mitchell of Memphis, Missouri; a daughter, Jennifer and her husband Jared Kriz of Manteno, Illinois; one grandson, Andrew and his wife Lynne Kriz of Indiana; a sister, Darlene and her husband Richard Hood of Lancaster, Wisconsin, along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
Daniel was preceded in death by one sister.
His wishes were to be cremated and a celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
