Daniel Munda Obituary
Dano was the son of Coleman "Bill" Munda and Eileen (Slunsky) Woodson, and the stepson of Betty (Griffin) Munda, wife of Coleman, and Clayton "Woody" Woodson Jr., husband of Eileen. He was the loving father of Marissa McKee, proud grandfather of Jordan Payton Jr. and Nile Payton, brother of Darlene (Munda) Coker (Ray), uncle of Benjamin Coker, and stepbrother of David Woodson and Carla (Woodson) Kestner.
Dano worked as a local truck driver and was a proud member of the Teamsters Union. While he took great pride in his career, he was happy to retire early. He loved his family, motorcycles, his cats, and his friends. Dano leaves behind many aunts, uncles, and cousins, along with an extraordinarily large circle of friends - he made a friend everywhere he went and cherished them all.
One of Dano's favorite sayings was, "I don't have bad days - I have bad moments."
Even during his fight with cancer, he lived by these words no matter the obstacle he faced.
A celebration of life is being planned and will be announced when scheduled. Arrangements are entrusted to Maurice L. Knee, Ltd. Funeral Home.
