Daniel Lee Niles passed away unexpectedly on December 22, 2023 in Albany, NY. His family is deeply saddened by his sudden death. Dan was born on May 26, 1977 in Rome, NY.
Dan is survived by his mother Carolee (Henry) Niles of Verona, NY and Richard Niles, of Pleasant Mount, PA. Forever remembered by his brother Brian Niles, and his wife Chandy Niles of Cibolo, TX. His daughters, Kayla Niles and Arianna, grandson Aiden Revette and his close friend Natasha Arsovska.
He spent most of his childhood in Canastota, NY. While attending school he excelled in sports such as football and wrestling. For most of his adult life he worked in the fitness industry as a personal trainer, as well as nutritional,strength and conditioning coach. He was so passionate about helping people achieve their health goals and later advanced to a regional trainer. For the past twenty months he worked at GE in Schenectady. He was embraced and loved by all of his coworkers. Dan trained new hires how to form and was an excellent teacher of his craft.
Dan was a fun spirited soul that took on many passions. One of his favorite places was being by the water. More specifically Alexandria Bay, NY,Newport and Block Island,RI. He loved to hike, play volleyball and golf. With his playful and competitive spirit he was always up for a round of dice or a card game with the family. Dan was a beautiful person inside and out. His smile was so stunning it would light up the whole room. He cared so deeply for the people around him. He was so kind and passionate and made an impact on many lives. He will be forever missed. Until we meet again. Services to celebrate Dan's life will be held at a later time.
