Danny,Shane and Sean my heart goes out to you. Your dad worried about you. He always wanted the best for you. You are all different but he was proud of having three sons. He took joy in all the accomplishments you achieved whether small or large. His heart was filled to the brim with love for each one of you.
One seldom comes across a guy like your dad. He was as tough as they come. he was honest, generous and kind. He was a great provider, a funny storyteller who had a knack for comforting people when they most needed it.
Your dad never took credit for all the good he did. He never banged his own drum. He spent over two decades in the union helping hundreds of members. As president he grew the treasury to close to two million dollars, unheard of.
When the Twin Towers were blown up by the terrorists on 9/11 your dad put his boots on and drove to ground zero and worked for a week in the pit.
That's the kind of guy he was, smart, dedicated and most of all loving. In time your grief will fade and the good memories will put a smile on your face.
We all loved him,
Joe Kirylo
