Daniel A. 'Danny' Osborne, Age 73, of Vanceburg, Kentucky passed away Tuesday September 12, 2023 at St. Mary's Hospital in Huntington, West Virginia.
Danny was born in Garrison, Kentucky July 9, 1950 to the late Roy C. and Helen Cooper Osborne. Danny was an Engineering Manager for Volvo Heavy Truck Company in Dublin, Virginia. He was of the Christian faith. Danny always encouraged his children to do the best they could in life. He was a Loving husband, father and adored his grandchildren.
Surviving is his wife of 52 years Patricia Roe Osborne whom he married November 22, 1970.
Six children- Kellie (Joel) Griffin of Memphis, Tennessee, Danny (Sara) Osborne of Gastonia, North Carolina, Jason (Ginger) Osborne of Lexington, South Carolina, Steven (Stacie) Osborne of Mandeville, Louisiana, J.R. (Christie) Osborne of Dublin, Virginia, and Brent (Erin) Osborne of Harvest, Alabama
18- Grandchildren- Shelby, Cailey, and Connor Griffins. Danny, Jesse, Allie, Nicholas, Parker, Gabriel, Colt, Isabella, John Henry, Gillian, Charlotte, Cyrus, William, and Sophie Osborne. One Great grandchild Thiago Fuentes.
3- Brothers- Douglas Osborne of Portsmouth, Ohio, Dennis (Sue) Osborne of Cleveland, Ohio, and Oval (Lorna) Osborne of Garrison, Kentucky.
2-Sisters Deliah Coe of Portage, Michigan, and Janie Collins of Vanceburg, Kentucky and several nieces and nephews also survive who will mourn his passing.
Funeral Services will be held Friday September 15, 2023 at the Gaydos Funeral Home at 159 Second Street Vanceburg, Kentucky 41179 at 1:00 PM with Reverend Wilma Erwin officiating. Burial will follow at the Waring Cemetery in Garrison, Kentucky.
Friends may call from 11:00 AM until the time of services on Friday September 15, 2023 at the Gaydos Funeral Home.
Family will serve as pallbearers.
