Daniel Webb Peavey, 88, of Cameron, NC, passed away peacefully on April 18, 2025, around 9:00pm. He was surrounded by family. Dan was born May 10, 1936, in Brookhaven, MS.
He is survived by his wife, Joan Hennings; two sons, Wilton Peavey (wife, Ann) and Mark W. Peavey (wife, Tina); three stepdaughters, Donna L. Hennings, Sherry E. Harrison (husband, Rick) and Joy L. Hennings (husband, Ken); grandchildren, Jennifer Eaton (husband, Matthew), Jason Peavey (wife, Victoria); step-grandchildren, Nathan, Kate, John Stevens, Amber (husband, Mike), Lindsay (husband, Andrew), Brielle (husband, Thomas) and Ramey; nine great-grandchildren, Madeline (Maddie), Aiden, Haydyn, Ivan, Cambrie, Arius, Kannon, Arkyn, and Amarion.
Dan was married to Laquita Joy McLean Peavey for 46 years prior to her death. He has been married to his wife Joan for the past 17 years. One of the greatest joys of his life was providing for his wife and siblings.
Dan retired from the US Air Force having served from February 1955 through August 1975. He was very proud of his military service. He also retired from Stewart Oldsmobile in Fayetteville, NC.
Apart from his military service he was very proud of his family and would not pass up spending time with them. He enjoyed working in the yard and when he made time, fishing.
Graveside services will be held at Lafayette Memorial Cemetery on Ramsey Street in Fayetteville, NC at 3:00 pm on Wednesday April 23, 2025.

Well Dan I´m going to miss our breakfast´s together. I enjoyed talking and being with you. We didn´t get a chance to go fishing but that´s OK. You was a good and honest man! I love you buddy!
