Daniel Ward Phillips

Daniel Ward Phillips, 49, of Rockdale, TX, passed away on May 20,2025. Daniel was born on March 19, 1976, in Bryan, TX to Glynn and Rita Phillips. He graduated from Rockdale High School in 1994 and continued his education at TSTC where he earned his Maintenance Electrician license. A Life Well Lived Daniel was a hardworking, family man who loved his Jersey Cows, NASCAR, fishing, canoeing with his sister Danielle, loved hugs from his brother Denton, along with making many other memories with his family and friends. Daniel spent many years working as a driller and tool pusher in the oil field, and he was currently working as a maintenance electrician at Acme Brick. Daniel found great joy in his recent marriage to his bride Trisha Phillips and enjoyed spending time with her and her daughter Lily and family, from the many spontaneous trips to learning the show life, this chapter in his life brought forth a renewed sense of happiness and peace. Survived By Daniel is his Wife Trisha Phillips of Rockdale. Parents Glynn and Rita Phillips of Rockdale. Kids- Tyler Phillips, Trace Phillips & Wife Alyssa, Jacob Phillips and Wife Alex, Andrew Mulac and wife, Brittany, Lilly Hall and husband James, Shelby Phillips, and Chase Phillips. Siblings- Danielle Phillips-Ramos and husband Tony, Denton Phillips Grandkids- Olivia Phillips, Parker Phillips, Violet Hall Step-Children- Cade Gordon, and Lily Jones Step- Grandchild- Khyler Gordon Along with other numerous Aunts Uncles and Cousins Proceeded in death: Grandparents- Herbert and Louise Phillips, Louie and Charlene Luetge Uncle- Rod Roderick Daniel was lucky to have known four of his great grandparents- Louie and Lillian Luetge, Bruce Brodnax, Lillian Hughes, along with many other great grandparents and uncles. Pallbearers- Van Phillips, Bobby Samford, Greg Samford, Ross Radtke, Corey McIrvin, Dustin Zanders, Wyatt Chambers, & James Hall Honorary Pallbearers- Johnny Stewart, Robert Barrera, Gary Kornegy, Tristan Ramos, Tony Ramos, Chris Phillips & Dylan Prestridge.
Service will be held at Phillips and Luckey Funeral Home
Visitation Sunday May 25, 2025, at 2pm to 4pm
Chapel Service Monday May 26, 2025, at 10:00am
