Daniel A. Pieper

Daniel A. Pieper passed away at his home surrounded by his family on January 12, 2026. Dan was born in Omaha, Nebraska in 1953. He worked for AT&T for 30 years. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying camping, chasing trout in the west, bicycling, and traveling, all with family and friends. Dan was also involved with his children's sports activities, often as a part of the coaching staff, although he was often the fall guy for poor coaching decisions and was known to harass an official or two. Dan was a jack of all trades. There weren't many things he couldn't fix, build or sometimes even break. He loved cars, buying, maintaining, washing, and was known for his spotless cars. Dan had many gifts, but his greatest gift was the love of his family. There are not enough words in the universe to describe how amazing he was. He will truly be missed by his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Norman Pieper and mother, Laura Pieper. He is survived by his wife, Louise, and children Hank (Justine), and Annie (Ryan) and three grandchildren, and brothers Dennis (Lisa), Les (Diane), and Roy.

A Celebration of Life is planned for April. The date will be announced at a later time.
