Daniel Guy Prosser

LUDLOW- Daniel Guy Prosser, age 62, of Ludlow, Maine, died Sunday, January 4, 2026, with family by his side. Born and raised in Littleton, Maine, to the late Ralph and Naomi (Michaud) Prosser. Daniel (Dan) is survived by his older siblings Elwood Prosser, Lorraine (John) Lincoln of Hodgdon, Michael (Jeannie) Prosser of Hodgdon, Brenda (Ron) Gregorie of Peoria, Arizona, Nancy Barton of Littleton, Paul (Lori) Prosser of Houlton, and Conrad (Pam) Prosser of Littleton, Also his mother-in-law, Joan McCordic; brothers-in-law Greg and Darren McCordic; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Dan was married to the love of his life and best friend for 32 years Shannon (McCordic) Prosser. Together, they had a daughter, Shasta (Josh) Shields of Houlton, He was a proud grandfather to Dayton and to the light of his world, Lexi, who held a very special place in his heart, being her "Grumpy" and a son Kyal Prosser (Brittany) of Houlton.
Dan attended grade school in Littleton and graduated from Houlton High School with the class of 1982. After graduation, he worked at Tate & Lyle for 33 years. Shortly after retirement he began driving for Shiretown Solutions. Dan enjoyed his life with Shannon and raising his children in the area. He treasured his family and living around his siblings, nieces, nephews, and cousins and many friends. He shared in their laughter, pranks, camping, hunting, fishing, four-wheeling, family reunions, and dinners with family. His trips to St. Croix were especially meaningful, where he enjoyed the company of friends who were truly like family to him.
Dan will be remembered most for his deep love for his family. He leaves behind countless memories that will be treasured by all who knew him.
Dan was predeceased by his parents, Ralph and Naomi (Michaud) Prosser; brothers Stephen (Stevie) Prosser and Louis Prosser. Brothers-in- law Gary Wilson, Elwood (Chip) Wilde and Braden McCordic. Sisters-in-law Theresa Prosser, Linda Prosser, and Charlotte Prosser and his father-in-law, Butch McCordic.
Friends may call on Saturday, January 10th at 10 am with a funeral to follow at 11 am at Bowers Funeral Home, 10 Water Street, Houlton. A luncheon to follow the service at the Meduxnekeag Ramblers Snowmobile Club in Littleton.
