Randal G Tidd

Randal Gordon Tidd, born June 15th 1958, passed away December 7th 2025 at Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor Maine.
Randy enjoyed going fishing with his father in-law Richard Simpson and always looked forward to their time together. He loved watching the Hodgdon Hawks play basketball and could often be found sitting on bleachers cheering them on, unless they were playing against the Easton Bears then he would be cheering and bragging about his grandkids playing. Him and his son Logan did a lot of tinkering outside on things like cars and trucks to 4 wheelers and lawn mowers, he didn't really care what they were working on as the time spent with Logan was very important to him. A time or two you might have seen him watching his granddaughter Emma at cheering competitions, that little girl had her grandpa wrapped around her finger. He always bragged about how smart his grandson Graison is and when he spoke of him his face lit up with pride. When he wasn't gloating about Graison he would take him fishing with him, he made sure that he was making memories.
Randy is survived by his wife of 26 years Anne Tidd, she was the love of his life, and fought his battle right alongside of him. His kids Renee and Joseph Leach of Mars Hill, Reanna and Luke Smith of Florida, Whitney Tidd and fiancée Josh Michaud of Houlton, Logan Tidd of Hodgdon. His brother Dennis Tidd, and sisters Denise Chaloux and Leisha Tidd. Sister in-law Debbie Beauliau and fiancée Brian Brown His grandkids, Madison Leach and fiancée Jason Coker, Delaney Leach and fiancée Cameron
Cota, Keagan Kinney and his wife Grace Kinney, Kooper Kinney and fiancée Emily Jackson, Kaylee Boyce, Wesley Leach, Leah Holmes and her husband Michael Holmes, Hannah Mckissick, Logan Burtt, Braylin Smith, Graison Wood, Emma Tidd and a very special grand baby on the way. His great grandchildren Maverick and Meredith Kinney, Lettie Cota, and Callum Hanning is on the way.
Randy is predeceased by his parents Gordon Tidd and Phylis Tidd.
Randy had a very special niece Brittany Beauliau and fiancé Kyal Prosser. He thought a lot of Brittany as well as his Mother and Father in-law Marilyn and Richard Simpson.
He had two very special friends that have been there for him throughout his battle Kirk Beauliau and Jon Spooner.
The family will be having a celebration of life at a later date.
