Daniel Joseph Pyatt of Cadet, Missouri, was born on September 25, 1956 in Ironton, Missouri, a son of Robert "Bob" Pyatt and the late Norma (Hawkins) Pyatt. Dan went to be with Jesus on Sunday, February 26th, 2023 at the age of 66.
Those who remain to treasure his memory include his dad and stepmother: Robert "Bob" and Bonnie Pyatt; son, Daniel Pyatt II (wife, Sara); daughter, Kim Parsons (husband, John); nine grandchildren of which he was so proud of: Gabriel (Leah), Benjamin, Isabelle, Carter, Kaylee, Jerica, Jessica, Isaac, and Zachariah; two great grandchildren whom he loved very much: Cecelia and Genevieve; brother, Tim (wife, Heather); sister, Kim Ladehoff; sister-in-law, Evelyn Pyatt; and mother of his children, Linda Pyatt. Dan also leaves behind many other dear family members and friends.
Dan was united in Heaven with his mother, Norma Pyatt and brother, Kenneth Pyatt.
Dan was a man who loved his family and friends deeply. He never hesitated to let his loved ones know how he felt. He also had a deep love for Jesus and spent his last years teaching Sunday school at his church. He felt great joy from sharing the gospel to others. He enjoyed metal detecting and looking for hidden treasures. He also enjoyed reading western books, fishing, hunting, and making his grandchildren laugh. His family and friends are rejoicing that he is now with the Lord and also mourning because he will be missed so very much.
Visitation will be Wednesday, March 1st, 2023 from 5 to 8 PM at DeClue Funeral Home. Visitation will resume on Thursday March 2nd from 9 AM until the time of his Funeral Service at 11 AM held at the DeClue Chapel. Pastor Bobbie Browne will be officiating. Interment will follow at Redbud Memorial Gardens. Funeral arrangements were respectfully entrusted to the care and direction of DeClue Funeral Home.
