Dear Aunt Muriel, Maureen, and Kelly,
I've been thinking of you every day since Uncle Dan's passing. Though I wrote to you (Aunt Muriel) immediately afterward, I've been planning to call you as well. (It is difficult with the time difference.) For now, I just wanted to let you know that I made a donation in Uncle Dan's name to the Wounded Warrior Project.
We're so very sorry for your loss, and even though we live so far away and couldn't see him often, we will miss Uncle Dan!
Lots of love, from Germany, Kathy
