Daniel L. Richards, 19, of Waukomis, Oklahoma, passed away on Sunday morning, November 2, 2025.
The Recitation of the Rosary will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 6, 2025, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, with Father Mark Mason officiating. A Celebration of Life Service will take place at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, November 7, 2025, at the Waukomis High School Gym, with Rev. David Jones officiating. Burial will follow in the Waukomis Cemetery under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home and Crematory.
Daniel was born on August 25, 2006, in Sioux City, Iowa, to Elvia Ramos. He attended and graduated from Waukomis High School with the Class of 2025. Daniel was a very good basketball player and loved working out every day, and golfing. Daniel had a bright spirit and a strong work ethic, which he poured into starting his own business, Richards Lawn Care-RLC. He loved helping people and took great pride in his work, always greeting others with kindness and a smile. Daniel always tried to find the best sunset to take pictures of his truck.
Daniel is survived by his parents, Justin and Elvia Richards; his brothers, Rudy, Kino, and sister, Jade Richards; and his grandparents, Eddie and Shelly Richards, Amelia and Acencion Ramos, Uncles; Scott and Issa Richards, Brandee and Doug Easley, Armando and Marcila Ramos, Aunts, Isabell Ramos, Magdalena Ramos, Jose and Kelly Ramos, Maria Ramos, Patricia Ramos, and several cousins and other family members. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.
Memorial contributions may be made in Daniel's name to Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home & Crematory to assist with funeral expenses. Condolences may be shared, and the service may be viewed online at www.ladusauevans.com.
Daniel's life, though far too short, touched many hearts. His memory will live on in the love he shared and the joy he brought to those around him.
