Daniel A. Sabourin

Bay City, Michigan

Our beloved father, grandfather and brother passed away Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at his home, age 51. Dan was born September 25, 1969 in Bay City to the late David L. and Suzanne M (Swincicki) Sabourin. He graduated from John Glenn High School Class of 1987. Dan started his working career with General Motors at Steering Gear in Saginaw, then transferred to Flint for some time before making the move to the Saginaw Metal Castings plant where he was currently. He was a member of Radiant Church in Bay City and the UAW Local 668. Dan loved spending time with his family for all of their special events and enjoyed spoiling his grandchildren more than anything else. He enjoyed driving his Harley to relax and also liked to let loose on his side x side on the trails around Houghton Lake.

Surviving are his two sons, Austin (Alena) Sabourin and Dylan (Gabryelle) Sabourin, two grandchildren, Zoey and Renly, brothers and sisters: Terrance (Michele) Sabourin, Karen (Mark) Reed, Sandra (David) Dutton, Brian Sabourin, Ellen (Thomas) Kinsey and Aaron (Shelly) Sabourin, special friend Beth Carr and his best furry friend Remington. Dan was predeceased by his brother Randy, father David in 2018, his mother Suzanne in 2020 and a sister-in-law Luanne Marie Sabourin.

The Funeral Service for Dan will be held Tuesday, August 3, 2021 at 7:00 PM at Squires Funeral Home. Pastor Marco Salazar will officiate. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 2:00 PM until the time of service. Private interment will be in St. Patrick Cemetery. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to send floral arrangements or a donation to the American Diabetes Association. www.squiresfuneralhome.com
