Daniel Robert Schneider-Hernandez, 28, of Reading, PA passed away tragically in a car accident on May 30th, 2024. Daniel was the son of Penny L. Schneider and the late Daniel Hernandez-Castro, and was born and raised by his loving parents in Reading. He grew up alongside his twin brother, David Schneider, as well as his three sisters, Jennifer Schneider, Amy Schneider, and Elizabeth (Thoma) Swist. Daniel is also survived by his doting wife, Marianne I. Ramos Colon, their two beautiful children, Robert N. Schneider and Danielle A. Schneider, as well as his many nieces and nephews.
Daniel was a long-time desk runner at Dollar General and was loved dearly by his coworkers. He was known to brighten up anyone's day with his witty humor and contagious smile, something his coworkers always raved about. Daniel was also known for his love of Harley-Davidson motorcycles and playing the guitar. His love for music was evident, creating his countless playlists that ranged from Oldies to Christmas music, which was well-complimented by his fondness for dancing.
But more than anything, Daniel loved his family. There was nothing he loved more than spending time with his wife and kids; playing, dancing, laughing, and soaking in every precious moment with those he loved the most. He was insistent upon his family trips to Cherry Crest farms, family dinners, and carrying on countless family traditions that he held dearly. Spending time with the people he loved was of the utmost importance to him, and his warm, humorous personality and unbounded charisma made his presence a joy to all those who knew him.
A visitation will be held on Friday, June 7th from 3-5 pm at Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, 739 Penn Avenue, West Reading. A Celebration of Life service will follow at 5 pm at the same location. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made out to the family to help defray funeral expenses. Condolences may be expressed at kuhnfuneralhomes.com.
