Daniel Paul Scozzari, 75, of Canisteo St. Hornell, NY, passed away on Thursday, November 20, 2025 at Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, PA.

Born in Fort Worth, Texas on October 21, 1950, Daniel was the son of the late Joseph P. and Mercedes Woodworth Scozzari. When Daniel was 17, he and his family moved from Texas to Wellsboro, PA.

On January 4, 1969, he and the former Viola M. Crooks were married at Academy Corners, PA. They had met at a prayer meeting held in his parents' home. In 1970 they moved to Texas where they resided for 44 years, returning north in 2012. Daniel had worked in various jobs but the bulk of his employment was in commercial building construction where he eventually became a supervisor. He was an avid fisherman and would hit the lakes and streams on any opportunity.

He is survived by his wife, Viola Scozzari of Hornell, his daughter, Shelly Jean Page of Fort Worth, Texas, his son, Daniel P. Scozzari Jr. of Phoenix, AZ, his grandchildren, Angelina Marie Weaver and Ethan Scozzari, his great grandchildren, Cash and Case Cannon, his brother, John (Rebecca) Scozzari of Woodhull and many nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, Joseph and Mercedes, he was preceded in death by six other siblings.
