Daniel William "Danny" Scullion

Daniel William "Danny" Scullion, 64, of Moorestown, New Jersey, passed away June 18, 2024.
Born in Philadelphia, PA, Danny was one of four children born to the late Charles A. and Annamarie M. (nee Begley) Scullion. He was a longtime resident of Mount Laurel prior to moving to Moorestown. Danny served his country for 23 years in the United States Coast Guard. He was a passionate man devoted to his daughters, his grandson, his family, friends and last, but certainly not least, his country. Danny was loyal and always had a smile on his face. He was always ready to boast of his Irish heritage and show his patriotism for his country. He enjoyed watching the Phillies, the Union, reading up on current events and history. Danny was old school and thoroughly enjoyed the art of a phone conversation just to chat...if you were on the receiving end, you knew that you were going to be catching up for a while.
Beloved husband of the late Elizabeth "Betty" Ann (nee Phillips) Scullion; devoted father of Meghan E. Scullion (Eric Zappley) and Alison M. Syvarth (Robert); cherished WeePop to his grandson, Simon; loving brother of Charles J. "Chuck" Scullion (Lisa), Sharon Scullion-Roeckers (Uncle Jimbo) and the late Annamarie; dear uncle of Michael Scullion (Felicia) and their children Owen, Kylie, Hope and Audrey. Danny is also survived by his Chosen Brothers Micheal McElvaney, David Froelich and many more close family and friends.
A Celebration of Life for Danny will be celebrated on Friday, June 28, 2024, 2:00 - 6:00 pm at the American Legion Post 372, 1532 Martin Avenue, Cherry Hill, New Jersey 08002.
